NEDUET iAccess
Keeping pace with the modern technology NEDUET offers WiFi connectivity to its users with Campus wide coverage powered by iAccess. iAccess is a self-customized AAA system that provides its user accessibility to LAN and WAN services on all their WiFi enabled mobile devices along with authentication, accounting service and other useful information.

INTERNET BILLING
  As customized as you can get the Department has its own Internet Billing Server (IBS) a GUI based application utilizing an Oracle 10g database. The IBS provides an interface for managing user accounts (i-e LAN and WAN hours) through RADIUS.


Billing & Tariffs

Our Department provides billing for users to keep update about the hour consumption. In this section user can:   View current Account balance.   View billed usage or Login History from Inside or outside of NED UET.   Change Login Password. Moreover, the Department provides attractive tariffs for Students, Faculty and Staff which they can use in LAN or Dialup. Organization committee has approved FREE internet services in LAN to the undergraduate & postgraduate student from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

PS / PA 40 - 5 Rs. 5 Rs.  Monthly Subscription Unlimited Internet over Dialup @ Rs.200 / Month for Students & Everyone Top New Tariff's Highlights The new Internet tariff has been announced with the aim to facilitate NEDUET Students,faculty,officers,employee and to provide them more value and convenience to its customer some of the benefits of this new tariff are as under; 1 With an aim to provide cheap connectivity to students, lure internet tariff is being introduced to access Internet with half rates i.e. Rs. 5/hour instead of existing rate of Rs.10 / hour. 2 In order to encourage research work in NEDUET, internet is made available free on LAN for Research Scholars, Research Supervisors and Research Fellows. 3 Officers of BPS-16 can now use monthly 50 hours FREE for the first time. 4 Very first time all PS and PA can have the benefit of using 40 FREE internet hours in a month on LAN. 5 A new tariff is being introduced for UNLIMITED Monthly Internet Hours on Dial-up @ Rs.200 Only for students & everyone. Top How to Proceed with new Tariff For Students : All students who are having Internet Account can easily change their tariff from Rs10/hr to Rs5/hr by filling and submitting a simple form available at IT Department along with the university ID card copy. For Faculties & Officers : VC/PVC/PD in C, All Deans ,Chairmen, Professor Emeritus, Faculty, Research scholars / Research Supervisors / Research Fellows, Head Non-teaching, and Officers (17 & above) can use their Internet Accounts according to New tariff scheme from 13-Jul-2009. Internet Accounts will be automatically upgraded. All PS, PA, and officers (BPS-16) are requested to open their accounts by simply filling the “New Internet Account Form”, in order to enjoy FREE monthly internet hours. Top Special Instructions

As the current usage of internet services is increasing day by day, numbers of white collar crimes are also increasing tremendously. In order to avoid any misusage like spamming, hacking, email spoofing, cyberterrorism, Copyright infringement etc, it is requested that make sure your login id is not being used by someone else and furthermore multiple logins will be locked on LAN & Dial-up w.e.f. 15-August-2009. If you find yourself unable to connect internet as incase of someone else is using your account, IT Department via email support@neduet.edu.pk or by calling on Ext. 2222.
